Into the Create Room you can get from the Store Room when
clicking New Puzzle in the main menu of the Store Room. In the Create Room you
can create your puzzles from pictures or movies placed in your computer
or on the Internet. To cut them you can use regular patterns,
prepared templates or arbitrary net of lines drawn by your hand!
A puzzle can be accompanied with music and notes displayed
before and/or after solving the puzzle. Your every single puzzle
is a unique original. There are no limitations of your fantasy
with Jigs@w Puzzle.
Every puzzle is described by: image, music, cutting lines,
texts and settings. Some of them are optional and you do
not have to set them. Let's explain them:
- Image
An image can be a picture (e.g. photos from
holiday) or a movie (e.g. a movie trailer). You can use an
image (a picture or a movie) from your disk. Such an
image will become a component of the puzzle. You can also
use an image from the Internet. Then the web address only
is a component of the puzzle.
It allows you to make a very interesting puzzle. You can
easily create a puzzle from a web camera or from
a movie trailer of a movie blockbuster. Jigs@w Puzzle contains
support for scanners and digital cameras too. If an image
is not a stream of pictures, you can bring it to the
Retouch Room and modify it. Supported formats.
- Music
If you want to listen to music while solving a puzzle,
you can choose a music file from your disk and check
Repeat option. If you want just a short welcome sound for
example: "Hello Granny, happy birthday!" simply
record it and insert it into a puzzle. This file will
become a component of the puzzle.
Supported formats.
- Cutting lines
With cutting lines a puzzle is cut when opened in the
Play Room. In the Create Room you can create cutting
lines in two modes. The first one is called the Standard
Mode and it allows you to make only a regular net of
lines. The second one is called the Advanced Mode and it
allows you to make arbitrary cutting lines. There are
tools for hand drawing, modifying drawn lines or for
putting templates in the Advanced Mode. We have prepared
a range of templates for you.
- Texts
Every puzzle can contain a Start Text which is displayed
when entering the Play Room and a Final Text which is
displayed when a puzzle is solved. You can also accompany
a puzzle with a description. The texts are optional and you can fill out only those you wish to.
- Settings
Only two parameters are to be found here. Rotate -
specifies random rotation of pieces when a puzzle is
scattered. Surprise - specifies a puzzle performing as a
surprise.
